By creating an account you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Mongoose Commerce lets you publish a storefront page that lists your products and links each one to a checkout page that you operate with a third-party payment provider. We display your listings and send shoppers to your checkout link. We are not a party to any sale. We do not process payments, hold funds, collect card or shipping details, ship goods, or handle returns and refunds. Those are between you, your payment provider and your customer.
The Free plan is limited to 1 store, 8 products and 5 AI-written listings per day. Pro ($19/month) allows up to 3 stores, 200 products per store and 100 AI-written listings per day, and removes the “Made with” note. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
You own what you publish and you are responsible for it: that you have the right to sell it and to use every photo and description, that your listings are accurate, and that you comply with the consumer-protection, tax, privacy, product-safety and marketplace laws that apply to you and your customers.
AI-written listings. The AI writer drafts text from the notes you give it. It can be wrong. Read every draft and correct it before publishing. You, not us, are responsible for the claims your listing makes.
You may not use Mongoose Commerce to sell or promote: counterfeit or infringing goods; illegal goods or services; weapons, explosives or controlled substances; stolen goods or personal data; adult sexual content; anything that is fraudulent or deceptive, including “stores” that exist to collect payments without delivering, or to imitate another business; malware or phishing; or anything else that harms shoppers. You may not link a Buy button to a page other than your own genuine checkout. We limit Buy links to known payment providers to help prevent abuse; attempts to get around that limit are a violation.
Published stores are reviewed automatically, including by an AI model, and we check that Buy links still work and still lead to a payment provider. A product whose link has stopped working for several days is hidden until you fix it. Where the automated review is highly confident that a store clearly breaks these Terms (for example counterfeit goods, a scam, or illegal goods), it may suspend the store without prior notice; less certain cases are held for a person to review and the store stays online meanwhile. Suspensions are recorded with their reason and can be reversed if we got it wrong; if you believe yours was a mistake, use the contact details on mongooselabs.app.
Every store also has a public “Report this store” link. Reports help us prioritise what to review; they do not by themselves cause a takedown. We may hide, suspend or remove a store or product, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or the law, or puts shoppers at risk. If your store is suspended you cannot re-publish it. To report intellectual-property infringement, use the report link and include enough detail to identify the material and your rights in it.
You may delete your account at any time from your account page; doing so cancels billing and permanently removes your stores and products. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mongoose Athanor LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost sales, or for the acts or omissions of merchants, payment providers or shoppers.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mongoose Athanor LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these Terms as the product changes; continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
